RS Components Emerges as Double Winner at The Loyalty & Engagement Awards 2013 Singapore

Only finalist from the electronics and maintenance products distribution industry

RS Components (RS), the trading brand of Electrocomponents plc (LSE: ECM), the world's leading high service distributor of electronics and maintenance products, has won the ‘Best Use of Rewards & Incentives (Silver)’ and ‘Best Use of Relationship Marketing – B2B (Bronze)’ awards at the inaugural Loyalty & Engagement Awards 2013 Singapore (L&E Awards), in recognition of its ‘RS Infinity’ Customer Loyalty Programme. The awards acknowledge excellence in customer loyalty and engagement strategies as well as celebrate the achievements of loyalty marketers.

Aimed at fostering a long-term relationship with customers, RS Infinity is the official customer loyalty programme of RS Components in the Asia Pacific region and has a current membership of 22,000. The programme enables customers to register as a member, earn points on every purchase and enjoy exclusive benefits.

The double award win at the L&E Awards underscores the success of the RS Infinity programme. RS Components’ effective use of incentives to increase customer loyalty led it to win a Silver in the ‘Best Use of Rewards & Incentives’ category. The company also won a Bronze in the ‘Best Use of Relationship Marketing – B2B’ as the programme significantly enhanced relationship and engagement with its customers.
