Conductive/Dissipative Work Station Mat Set
This ESD protective mat set includes a bench mat (1200x600mm) and a floor mat (1200x1200mm) produced from antistatic (conductive) and static dissipative materials with synthetic rubber.
The 2 mats each feature 0.5mm thick static dissipative surface top layer, with a 1.5mm conductive bottom layer.
This anti-static matting from RS PRO protects sensitive equipment from damage due to Electrostatic Discharge (ESD).

Why is it important to be ESD safe?
ESD safe mats help to create an ESD protected area (EPA). This is a defined space where all surfaces, objects, people and ESD Sensitive Devices (ESDs) are kept at the same electrical potential. This is achieved by using anti-static materials such as rubber. The mats can be used on your worktop bench or the floor. You can also use ESD safe gloves and ESD safe footwear to ensure optimum personal grounding and protection. It's important to create an EPA because electrostatic discharge can cause safety issues and damage your electrical components
