RS PRO Bench ESD-Safe Mat, 1.2 m x 600 mm x 2 mm
This ESD-safe mat from RS PRO ensures sensitive electronic equipment is protected from damage due to Electrostatic Discharge (ESD). Made from rubber, the mat is designed for use on workbenches as it's solder iron-resistant.
The 2 mm thick mat offers a surface resistance of 2.3 x 108 Ω and has a smooth surface texture. It's supplied with one stud of 10 mm diameter for affixing onto workbenches. Its double-layer construction with a green top surface and black bottom surface provides maximum safety and durability while the low reflectivity eases the burden on the eyes during prolonged work hours.
This mat is commonly used in advanced laboratories, clean rooms and microelectronic settings such as integrated circuits and networking devices. It conforms to IEC 61340-2-3, which is the recognised industry standard for ESD Protected Areas. As part of the trusted RS PRO series, the mat is strictly tested for quality and consistency.
