PicoScope 5000E Series Pc Oscilloscope, 200MHz Bandwidth, 20 Channels - PicoScope 5464E+ MSO

This PC oscilloscope is a USB-powered mixed-signal instrument designed for portable diagnostic and development work on electronic systems. It connects to a host computer via USB and captures high-speed analogue and digital signals across numerous channels, supporting detailed waveform acquisition and visualisation for laboratory, bench and field environments.

Features and Benefits:

• 2.50G samples/s sample rate for capturing fast transients
• 200MHz analogue bandwidth for high-frequency signal analysis
• 16-bit vertical resolution for fine amplitude discrimination
• 1000Mpts memory depth for long Record captures
• 300000 waveforms/s waveform refresh rate to reveal rare events

Applications

• Suitable for decoding and troubleshooting digital buses
• Ideal for analogue circuit characterisation and verification
• Used with firmware development for timing analysis
• Can be used for power electronics ripple and transient testing
• Used for educational labs requiring mixed-signal visibility

How is the instrument powered during mobile use?

It draws supply directly from the USB connection, eliminating separate power adaptors.

What rise performance can be expected for Rapid edges?

The front end supports a 1.75ns rise time to resolve steep signal transitions.

How flexible is the timebase for slow to fast signals?

The timebase ranges from 1ns/div for high-speed capture up to 5000s/div for long-duration monitoring.

How many channels are available for combined analogue and digital capture?

The device provides a total of 20 channels to accommodate mixed-signal measurements.

What vertical sensitivity options exist for small and large signals?

Sensitivity can be set between 1mV/div and 4V/div to handle a wide amplitude range.
