PicoScope 5000E Series Pc Oscilloscope, 60MHz Bandwidth, 20 Channels - PicoScope 5462E MSO

This PC oscilloscope is a portable mixed-signal instrument that connects via USB and is powered from the host, providing high-resolution acquisition for development and diagnostic work. It combines analogue and digital channel capture in a Compact form factor and is intended for use with a computer Interface to display and analyse waveforms. The unit supports deep memory capture and fast waveform update behaviour to assist in detailed signal investigation.

Features and Benefits:

• 16-bit vertical resolution delivers finer amplitude discrimination
• 2.50G samples/s sample rate captures fast transient details
• 300,000 waveforms/s refresh rate reduces missed events
• 1000Mpts memory depth enables long-duration signal capture
• 4V/div to 1mV/div sensitivity supports wide dynamic ranges

Applications

• Suitable for mixed-signal circuit debugging in labs
• Ideal for serial bus timing and protocol analysis
• Used with battery-powered systems via USB connection
• Can be used for transient and jitter measurements
• Suitable for educational electronics and training environments

What is the minimum time base available?

The instrument can be configured down to 1 ns/div time base for fine time resolution.

How quickly can the scope respond to step changes?

The front end has a rise time of 5.8 ns allowing accurate capture of Rapid edges.

What standards does the unit comply with?

It meets REACH, RoHS and WEEE environmental and material directives.

How is physical portability defined apart from dimensions?

The unit is USB powered and connects via a USB Interface type, enabling operation without external mains.
