PicoScope 5000E Series Pc Oscilloscope, 200MHz Bandwidth, 4 Channels - PicoScope 5464E+

This PC oscilloscope is a USB-connected, portable instrument designed to capture and analyse electrical waveforms on a host computer. It operates from USB power and provides a high sampling capability for transient and steady-state signal inspection, suited to bench, field and lab environments where a compact, PC-based oscilloscope is required.

Features and Benefits:

• 2.50G samples/s sampling supports high-speed signal acquisition
• 1.75ns rise time resolves fast edge transitions
• 8/16-bit vertical resolution enables precise amplitude detail
• 1000Mpts memory depth preserves long records for analysis
• 300000 waveforms/s refresh rate improves glitch capture

Applications

• Suitable for debugging high-frequency digital interfaces
• Ideal for transient capture in power electronics testing
• Used for waveform analysis in embedded development
• Can be used for education and laboratory demonstrations
• Useful for field diagnostics with laptop-based setups

What Interface does it use to connect to a computer?

It communicates via a USB Interface and is powered from the same USB connection.

How sensitive is the vertical input for low-amplitude signals?

The device provides a minimum vertical sensitivity of 1mV/div for fine amplitude measurements.

What temporal range can be inspected with the timebase?

Timebase settings span from 1ns/div for fine timing to 5000s/div for very slow signals.

What are the physical dimensions for portable handling?

The instrument measures 173 mm in width, 221 mm in depth and 30 mm in height.
