SICK TR4 Safety Interlock Switch, RFID Actuator Included, Valox

This safety interlock switch uses RFID sensing to provide non-contact protection for guarded access points in industrial systems. Designed for use where safe monitoring of machine guards or doors is required, it offers reversible head orientations and simple integration via a 5-pin M12 connection. The unit operates from a 24V DC supply and provides self-monitoring semiconductor outputs for connection to safety controllers or Flexi Loop diagnostics.

It connects via a 0.2m cable with a 5-pin M12 plug and supports long cable runs up to 200m.

The unit provides two self-monitoring semiconductor outputs (OSSDs) and an auxiliary non-safe output for supplementary signalling.

The housing is Valox DR48 plastic, resists vibration at 10Hz to 55Hz with 3.5mm amplitude, and survives 30g shock pulses of 11 ms.

An actuator is included and the sensor uses universally coded RFID actuation with an assured switch-on distance of 15mm and switch-off at 25mm.
