• Electricians

• Maintenance workers

• Engineers

What is the advantage of a chamfered / bevel wire cutter?

Bevel cutting wire cutters tend to have sturdier blades, and so are more durable and have a longer tool life. However, unlike flush-cutters, they tend to leave a 'spike' or angle in the cut wire which may be undesirable when working with more delicate components. It is important to select a wire cutter with a cut type that suits your needs, depending on whether a flush, or straight, cut wire is necessary.

Though other tools such as pliers might have cable cutters integrated, specialist wire cutters typically deliver a better, neater and safer wire cutting experience.

It this wire cutter VDE certified?

This wire cutter isn't VDE approved and cannot be used on live electric cables.
