ABB Series AF Auxiliary Contact, 6A Contact Current, 690V Contact Voltage - 1SBN010151R1111 CAT4-11M

This auxiliary contact provides a compact, front-mounted two-pole switching Interface for contactors and control circuits in industrial installations. It offers one normally open and one normally closed instantaneous contact arranged for front-side connection, with screw-type terminals for Coil and auxiliary wiring, intended for use alongside AF contactors in machinery and control panels.

Features & Benefits

• 2P contact configuration supplying both NO and NC switching
• Rated for 6A operational current at up to 690V
• Terminal arrangement supports front mounting and direct Coil connection
• Mechanical endurance specified to 10M cycles for long service life
• Operates across -40°C to 70°C enabling varied ambient conditions
• Conforms to IEC, UL/CSA and NEMA standards for industrial compatibility

**Applications**

• Suitable for retrofitting AF contactors in motor control panels
• Ideal for auxiliary signalling in automation control cabinets
• Used with contactor assemblies requiring front Coil Terminal access
• Can be used for interlocking and safety feedback circuits in machinery

What Terminal types are provided for wiring?

Screw terminals are used for both auxiliary and Coil connections, compatible with ferrules and solid conductors within the specified connecting capacity.

How does it Interface electrically with contactor ranges?

The Terminal marking and front-mount layout match AF09–AF16 contactor families, enabling direct assembly onto corresponding contactor frames.

What are the short-time withstand capabilities for fault conditions?

It is rated for high short-time currents with specified values for 0.1s and 1s durations to withstand transient fault currents during switching operations.

Which conductor sizes are acceptable for connection?

Multiple conductor types are supported, including flexible ferrules and rigid stranded or solid conductors within the indicated mm² ranges for control and auxiliary circuits.
