RS PRO Screened Industrial Cable, Grey, 3 Core, 0.22 mm², 500 m Reel

This RS PRO 3-core cable is specifically designed for high-speed data transmission. It's suitable for industrial process and control applications, for sending rapid electronic signals to machinery. It comes with a drain wire, which directs electrical noise into the ground to prevent it from interfering with the cable's transmission signals.

The cable's copper wiring is insulated with polyethylene (PE), which isn't affected by heat. This means that the cable is safe to use in temperatures of up to +70°C and as low as -20°C. Its polyvinyl-chloride (PVC) outer sheath is strong, effectively protecting the cable's internal wiring and extending its working life.

Cables like this are often used in data processing and information systems. As it contains only minimal levels of any harmful materials, the cable is also Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) compliant.
