OMRON Sensor Reflector, For Use With E3S-R Series Reflective Sensors, Pre-Drilled Mounting Holes - E39R1

Got glass wafers or LCD glass circuit boards passing through your manufacturing line? Keep an eye on them by pairing this sensor reflector with your E3S-R series retro-reflective unit. It bounces the light beam back to your device to help detect the presence and position of transparent or translucent objects. Installation is a doddle – just mount the item opposite your sensor. It works like a charm in temperatures between 0°C and +40°C, so you can expect efficient performance in heavy-duty industrial setups.

Features & Benefits

• Includes fasteners to save time during installation

• Pre-drilled holes make your job easier when mounting the unit

• Robust plastic housing boosts durability by protecting against bumps and scratches

Applications

• Food and beverage industry

• Automated factory processes

• Pharmaceutical manufacturing

Why do I need a reflector for my retro-reflective sensor?

Although a retro-reflective sensor houses its transmitter and receiver in a single casing, the light beam it emits still needs a reliable surface to bounce off. This unit has a prismatic design to maximise and amplify the light it captures and sends back, so the sensor has strong feedback to work with.
