SKF Nitrile Rubber (NBR) Seal, 55 mm ID, 90 mm OD, 8 mm

This seal is a rotary shaft sealing component designed to separate rotating and stationary elements and to retain lubricants while excluding contaminants in machinery. It features an elastomeric sealing lip with an auxiliary non-contacting lip and an internal garter spring to maintain sealing performance under relative motion and polluted environments.

The outside diameter is formed by a rubber element reinforced for press‑fit mounting into a housing bore to provide secure seating and vibration damping.

The seal design includes flexibility in the elastomer lip geometry allowing it to tolerate moderate shaft eccentricity while preserving the seal interface.

The sealing lip material is nitrile rubber (NBR), suitable for standard mineral oils and common lubricating greases within the stated temperature limits.

Continuous operation is rated up to 2880r/min, corresponding to the maximum acceptable circumferential speed for the specified shaft diameter.
