The photovoltaic solar cell protection Schottky diodes can vary between 40V-45V reverse voltage as well as forward currents such as 15A-25A. The Schottky rectifier has a cathode polarity and comes supplied in a JEDEC R-6 package. Applications include polarity protection, freewheeling circuits as well as high frequency inverters.
