Teledyne LeCroy Current Probes

Teledyne LeCroy current probes make accurate and reliable AC, DC and impulse current measurements without requiring the breaking of a circuit or the insertion of a shunt. This capability is based on a combination of Hall effect and transformer technology. Many current probes require external power supplies or amplifiers to display a waveform on the oscilloscope screen. LeCroy current probes are powered through the LeCroy ProBus® connection and require no additional hardware. Along with providing power, the ProBus connection allows the current probe and oscilloscope to communicate, resulting in current waveforms automatically displayed on screen in Amps, and calculated power traces scaled correctly in Watts. This integration also allows for Degauss and Autozero functions to be carried out directly from the oscilloscope with the press of a button. Applications of LeCroy current probes include use in the design and test of switching power supplies, motor drives, electric vehicles and uninterruptible power supplies.

  • Uninterruptable power supplies

Compatibility:

These current probes are compatible with digital oscilloscopes from LeCroy. You can find some compatible ones linked below;

Why Teledyne LeCroy?

Teledyne LeCroy oscilloscopes and probes have been designed, manufactured and tested to the highest standards. This ensures high reliability and quality. In the unlikely event, you experience any problems all Teledyne LeCroy digital oscilloscopes are covered by a 3-year manufactures warranty and probes a 1-year warranty.

Note

The CP030 ( 801-4858 ) & CP031 ( 724-0911 ) are compatible with LeCroy X-Stream oscilloscopes running firmware version 4.3.1.1 or greater. Their Minimum Sensitivity is 10mA/div compared with 1mA/div for CPO30A ( 878-7604 ) & CPO31A ( 878-7607 ). The maximum conductor size for these four models is 5mm od. CP150 ( 801-4855 ) & CP500 ( 724-0918 ) have Minimum Sensitivity 100mA/div and maximum conductor size 20mm od. Teledyne LeCroy current probes have a small form factor which makes probing easier on a crowded compact board.
