This heavy-duty power connector insert is a cable-mounted, female insert engineered for industrial electrical connections where secure, waterproof power transmission is required. It serves as an interconnect element for rugged power housings, providing a Compact means to terminate flexible conductors and mate with compatible heavy-duty connectors in automation and machinery environments.

What conductor preparation and termination method are required?


Stranded conductors to IEC 60228 Class 5 should be stripped to 10mm and terminated using the Han-Quick Lock method with a recommended slotted 0.6 x 3.5mm screwdriver.

The insert operates across a limiting temperature range of −40 to +125 °C, suitable for harsh industrial conditions.

What mechanical longevity can I expect from mating cycles?


It is specified for at least 500 mating cycles, supporting repeated assembly and maintenance operations.

Insulation resistance exceeds 10^10 Ω and the rated impulse voltage is 1.5 kV for transient protection.
