ABB Auxiliary Contact Block, NO Configuration, 21 (L) x 11mm (W) - OA1G10 1SCA022353R4970
Use this auxiliary contact block from ABB to track the operating state of the main contactor in your machinery. As it has an NO contact configuration, its internal contact will close when it senses a change in the contact position of the contactor. This automatically sends a signal to notify the control system. You can mount this unit by directly attaching it to your main contactor. Thanks to compact dimensions of 21 (L) x 37 (H) x 11mm (W), you can easily fit it into busy setups.
• Light weight of 0.014kg for minimal strain on the contactor • Conventional thermal current of 16A means it can withstand high-power systems
Applications
• Lighting fixtures • Automotive engineering • Conveyor systems • Food production and packaging
How does a main contactor work?
A contactor works by sending an electrical current to a device's circuits to switch it on or off. It's made up of an electromagnetic coil and contacts. When electrical energy passes through the coil, this closes or opens the contacts to power the circuits. Contactors typically come in insulated enclosures, which helps to protect the internal components from electrical hazards.
