The MIKROE Compact Charger 23 Click board is designed for efficient single-cell battery charging, specifically for Li-ion and Li-polymer batteries. Equipped with the ISL78693 charger from Renesas, it operates effectively within input voltage ranges as low as 2.6V, utilising a constant current/constant voltage charging profile. This device not only offers adjustable charge current settings but also addresses safety features through preconditioning of over-discharged batteries and temperature monitoring via an NTC thermistor interface.
