The RS Pro Ordinary duty flexible cords are used in applications where mechanical stresses and damage risks are minimal, making them ideal for small to medium-sized equipment in domestic, commercial, and light industrial settings, such as vacuum cleaners, toasters, washing machines, refrigerators, dryers, and televisions. These cords are manufactured using copper that has been validated and third-party verified to ensure a CO2 per kg ratio of less than 1.7:1 (CO2:Cu), significantly lower than the global average of more than 4.5:1 (CO2:Cu) its resulting in a reduced environmental impact, with over 2.5 times less CO2 emissions than conventional copper.
