Phoenix Contact Low Profile Terminal Block, 2 Way, 5.08 mm - MKDSN 1.5/ 2-5.08 HT BK - 1985865

This high-temperature PCB (printed circuit board) terminal block from Phoenix Contact can withstand the heat of a reflow oven. This makes it suitable for reflow soldering, which is important for efficient assembly and reliable electrical connections. We recommend heat treatment at +125°C for 48 hours before using in a reflow oven.

The component's screw-in connections hold wires firmly in place and also protect them from damage. Its thermoplastic housing has a 94 V-0 rating from UL (Underwriter Laboratories) for low flammability. This means it will retain its shape even when used in hot environments. The housing is also halogen-free and recyclable.

With a compact structure, this unit enhances the efficient packing of a PCB. It's part of the Phoenix Contact COMBICON range of terminal blocks and PCB connectors, which are designed to produce reliable connections. Phoenix Contact COMBICON MKDS 5.08mm High Temperature PCB Terminal Blocks

High temperature PCB terminal blocks are reflow solder tolerable and enable a greater proportion of a PCB to be populated and reflow soldered in one operation. Recommended as being suitable for temperature profiles based on EN 61 760-01. When used in reflow oven it is recommended that these components are heat treated at +125°C for 48 hours prior to use.
