RS PRO White Nylon Rod, 1 m x 10 mm Diameter

This white nylon rod from RS PRO can be used to create strong and lightweight technological components. It has a one-metre length and is highly machinable, allowing you to produce multiple components.

For safety in the event of a fire, the rod has a UL HB (Horizontal Burning) rating, meaning that it will burn very slowly. The nylon 66 material is chemically resistant and has a high level of impact strength, guaranteeing long-lasting performance.

As the rod has a high melting point and can withstand temperatures of up to +170°C, it's a good choice for high-temperature applications. You'll find it used for packaging and food processing machinery, as well as for gears, wheels and bearings in aircraft equipment.
