RS PRO Cable Tester BNC, RJ11, RJ45


This RS PRO cable tester is a network tester you can use to measure and test new and existing local area network (LAN) connections. The tester allows you to check the signal quality and identify the exact cables or cores that need your attention. You can also use it to certify connections.

This device is compact so it's easy to carry. It's an excellent tool when you need to install small-office home-office LAN (SOHO) networks. You can use it to test and confirm the correct installation of telephone lines, LAN cables, RJ45 fitted cables and BNC coaxial cabling.

The tester features a light-emitting diode (LED) indicator on both the main and the remote units to help you to take readings easily. It meets American and European electrostatic control requirements (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007), so you can be sure it's safe to use.
