You can use this DOL (direct-on-line) starter from RS PRO as a safe, reliable way to initialise a motor in your equipment. It allows you to connect the power supply directly to the motor's coil, providing 100% of its starting torque immediately.
The starter is manually operated, making it easy for you to activate your systems when necessary. The starter is also fitted with a thermal overload, to prevent overheating in case of a current surge after a short circuit, limiting any potential damage to your equipment.
This product has a strong, durable steel enclosure to house its circuitry, which has an Ingress Protection (IP) rating of IP55. This means it has excellent protection against dust and water spray, ensuring a long lifespan and improving the safety of your environment.
