Curve S Tripping 13 to 17 times the rated current

It's designed with thermal and electromagnetic release functions to break a circuit quickly when there are dangerous short-circuits and high currents. Thanks to its type C characteristic, it trips instantly when flow-through current reaches between 5 and 10 times its 3A rating. It's easy to see when the device has been triggered as the front status indicator turns from green to red.
