RS PRO 1/2 in Starter Kit


This starter kit from RS PRO provides the initial components you need for building a 1/2 in flexible coolant hose system. You'll find it useful for cooling down tools during high-heat industrial manufacturing tasks.

With an 11-in hose, three nozzles and two national pipe tapered (NPT) connectors, this kit is a useful starting point for preventing overheating. The nozzles come in sizes of 1/4 in, 3/8 in and 1/2 in, while the NPT connectors are 3/8 in and 1/2 in. The accessories in this kit feature a polyoxymethylene construction, so they're durable and resistant to heat. The hose system can handle a flow of 30 m³/h, a maximum liquid pressure of 0.193 pascals (Pa) and a maximum air pressure of 0.2 Pa. At full bend, it has a minimum diameter of 85 mm.

This starter kit is useful for applying coolant to applications such as turning, grinding and milling.
