Horizontal Light Guides, 1 Row - Rectangular (Bargraph)
This family of horizontal light guides, from MENTOR, consist of one row of light pipes. These light guides are ideal for use in bargraph displays with a minimum of 4 displays. The rectangular heads are parallel to the printed board on the front panel. This range of single level light guides is available in single or multiple column arrays with up to 20 sections. A light diffusing screen prevents radiation when using a combination of different colours.
Horizontal light pipes are designed for use with surface mount (SMD) LEDs and are fitted to the circuit board using push-fit lugs. The light pipe inject face sits in close proximity to the LED on the board.

MENTOR light guides are designed to transmit light from a PCB-mounted LED to the desired user interface. This transfer is completed with little or no loss of luminance and no light bleed between adjacent elements.
