The Semikron Semitrans 3 Fast IGBT 4 Module belongs to the IGBT4 generation which can be a preferred choice for applications like Electronic welders at switching frequencies of up to 20 kHz, AC inverter drives and UPS. The chipset provides isolated copper baseplate using DBC technology (Direct Bonded Copper) and soft switching 4 Generation CAL-diode integrated into the module.
