The Semikron Semitrans 2 package fast IGBT 4 module is belongs to the IGBT4 generation which can be a preferred choice for applications like hybrid or electric vehicles, Electronic welders at switching frequencies of up to 20 kHz, DC/DC converter, brake chopper and switched reluctance motor. The chipset provides isolated copper baseplate using DBC technology (Direct Bonded Copper) and soft switching 4 Generation CAL-diode integrated into the module.
