This IDC connector is a right-angle, shrouded female cable connector designed for insulation-displacement termination of flat ribbon cables. It links cable to PCB while incorporating a strain-relief clamp and supports dual-row mating for Compact interconnections. The housing uses polybutylene terephthalate and the contacts are copper alloy with gold plating on the mating side to aid contact quality in demanding electrical assemblies.
