The enclosures are simple and easy to assemble, with a lap joint construction offering protection against dust accumulation and splashes of water. For enhanced protection against dust and water ingress, the enclosures are also available with gaskets offering IP65 protection. RS PRO hand held enclosures also feature integral moulded PCB standoffs, allowing them to be installed securely and efficiently with other electrical components.
