RS PRO Blue Bench ESD-Safe Mat Kit, 2.4 m x 1.2 m x 3 mm
When you're preparing to work with electronics, create an ESD (electrostatic discharge) safe area on your bench with the RS PRO ESD-safe mat kit. It's supplied with a blue durable mat that's easy to roll out, along with the basic equipment you need to get started on your project.
With a length of 2.4 m and a width of 1.2 m, the mat gives you plenty of space to work. It has a three-layer construction, with a conductive layer sandwiched between two static-dissipative layers. The kit comes with a blue adjustable wristband so you can ground yourself securely. It also includes a common point ground lead, stud-to-stud coiled cord and stud-to-banana coiled cord.
The kit conforms to ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 electrostatic control standards. ESD-safe bench kits are used in workshops and laboratories where semi-conductor devices, computers and integrated circuits are manufactured.
