It removes condensation from inside an enclosure and prevents water splashes from getting inside, cutting the risk of corrosion and damage to devices. As it needs a small mounting hole diameter of just 16mm, it doesn't take up too much space in your box. Screw-on mounting means it's a cinch to install securely without the need for any special tools.
