Tesa Double Sided Tape, 12mm Width, Translucent - 04959-00110-00

This double sided tape provides a thin, flexible bonding solution for industrial assembly and automotive use. It combines a non-woven backing with an acrylic adhesive to deliver consistent adhesion across a wide temperature range, allowing application in environments extending from severe cold to elevated heat. The roll format and translucent appearance suit concealed joints and trim work where a low-profile bond is required.

Features and Benefits:

• 0.10mm thickness for minimal Visual profile and low build-up
• 14N/cm adhesion for firm initial and long-term hold
• 8N/cm tensile strength to resist shear and peel forces
• -40°C minimum use temperature for cold-environment stability
• 200°C maximum operating temperature for high-heat exposure

Applications

• Suitable for automotive interior trim attachment
• Ideal for bonding lightweight panels and overlays
• Used with assembly lines requiring thin adhesive joints
• Can be used for temporary fixtures during component positioning
• Suitable for concealed joins where translucency is needed

What backing structure does it use?

The backing is a non-woven material that provides conformability and tear resistance.

What adhesive chemistry is applied?

An acrylic adhesive is used to balance shear strength and environmental resistance.

How long is each roll and how wide is the tape?

Each roll measures 100m in length and has a 12mm width.

Is it suitable for automotive industry standards?

It meets VDA278, indicating compatibility with specified automotive requirements.
