What's the difference between a current probe and a current clamp?


Current probes don't have jaws like current clamps, so you can carry out tests on your circuits without physical contact. They are typically combined with external measuring instruments like oscilloscopes. When you pair this probe with an oscilloscope, you can measure currents of up to 3000A AC, making it suitable for use with heavy-duty equipment.
