RS PRO Crimping Tool For HT Auto Ignition Terminals
The RS PRO Crimping Tool for HT Auto Ignition Terminals is designed for professional mechanics and classic car restoration enthusiasts, providing a reliable solution for crimping terminals to 7mm high-tension auto ignition cable. Ideal for use on spark plugs, distributors and ignition Coils, it is also suitable for securing spark plug wires and Coil wires connecting the ignition Coil to the distributor.
Twin precision-machined dies ensure accurate and consistent crimps. One die forms the Terminal around the conductor, while the second securely closes the Terminal ears around the cable insulation, producing a strong and dependable connection. The compound lever mechanism multiplies hand force by up to 12 times, enabling efficient one-handed operation with reduced user effort.
Built for durability, the crimping dies are chemically blackened and hardened to HRC 58, while the long-life return spring enhances ease of use during repetitive tasks. Zinc-plated handles with soft plastic grips provide improved comfort and control during extended use.
