APDS-9007-020 Broadcom, Ambient Light Sensor

The APDS-9007 series, from Avago Technologies, are a family of SMD ambient light photo sensors. These analogue current output devices come in chip LED packages. Suitable applications for the APDS-9006 include; electronic signs/signals, automatic lighting management and display back lighting control for devices such as mobile phones, notebooks, TVs and digital cameras.

This device provides a Logarithmic response over a wide dynamic range of 3 lux to 70K lux and has a low sensitivity variation across various light sources. It is well suited for applications that operates under high ambient brightness.
