Its LED bulb emits a steady red light to create a bright warning that's easy for pilots to see. Thanks to its long lifespan of 50,000 hours, this beacon is a durable option. It has a low current consumption of just 400mA for energy-efficient operation.

How strong is the beacon's housing?

Obstruction lighting is a means of ensuring flight safety by marking aviation obstacles with electrically operated beacons. High buildings, factory chimneys, towers, masts etc. above a certain height in the vicinity of airports and airfields must be equipped with obstruction lights.
