    Molex 2.5 mm Nano-Fit Wire to Board Crimp Receptacle Housings


    Nano-Fit Wire to Board power connector crimp housings with a 2.5 mm pitch designed to provide full contact isolation. The compact package and tight pitch of these receptacles combined with optimum current density offer increased design flexibility for engineers in a wide range of applications. These Nano-Fit crimp housings are designed to provide full electrical isolation between the crimp terminals and to prevent arcing. Full isolation also prevents damage to the contacts during handling and mating and reduces the risk of shorting due to debris. These Nano-Fit crimp housings feature positive locking latches with an anti-snag design which prevents accidental disengagement and protects against damage caused by wire snags. The positive locking feature of these Nano-Fit power connector housings also prevents accidental mismating caused by shock, vibration or excessive cable strain. An audible click is produced to confirm mating completion. Tactile feedback is also provided when mis-mating is attempted. Polarization and keying aid accurate mating and prevent misalignment therefore reducing the errors that can be caused due to improper installation.
    These Nano-Fit crimp housings are designed to be used with TPA (Terminal Position Assurance) retainerswhich are available separately (see stock number 122-4858 typically)
