RS PRO Bimetal Thermostat Switch

Introducing the range of RS PRO Bimetal Thermostat Switches, ideal for regulating the temperature inside devices or objects that require temperature management like electrical appliances. The switch is designed with a temperature-sensitive bimetallic disc that is the actuator for the thermally and electrically isolated contacts which open when the ambient or surface temperature increases to the operating snap point of the metal disc.

Each thermostat is inch (12.4 mm) in height, making it a compatible replacement part for a wide range of appliances or for new installations and designs that require temperature sensors

These snap-action thermostats are available in automatic or manual reset options, phenolic, PPS or ceramic housings which offer dustproof performance, and a variety of mounting brackets and terminal options

In addition to this, the switches offer a rapid response time to temperature changes due to the low mass of the disc and the compact size of the actual thermostat switch

Available as normally closed and normally open types, with thermally and electrically isolated contacts
