The RS-870 is a handheld Thermal Imaging Camera which can be used for predictive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting and verification. Thermal images are displayed on the TFT screen and the datalogging capacity enables the user to save images to the camera’s internal memory. With Bluetooth instant share function, thermal images can be transferred to smart phones for quick reporting and analysis.

Thermal Imaging cameras create thermal images, also known as a thermogram, through a process called Thermography. This allows the user to visualise heat sources in real-time, making temperature measurement more accurate.

Whilst Thermal Imaging Cameras can't see through objects, they can detect heat sources produced on the surface of objects, such as locating a fire or heat source behind a wall.
