RS PRO 16A British Standard Fuse, A2, 550V ac, 73mm

Protect your circuits from shorting-out with this British Standard fuse from the RS PRO range that will protect against high currents. This fuse is size 2 A. It's gG rated so it's a general-purpose fuse, and will typically blow within 0.1 to 0.2 seconds at ten times the rated current and from two to five seconds at five times the rated current.

The fuse is bolted for easy mounting and securing to your fuse holder. With a current rating of 16 A, it also has a voltage rating of 550 V AC. Thanks to its high rupturing capacity, if a short circuit does occur, it will withstand the high pressure created.

Part of the RS PRO series, this British standard fuse has been stringently tested by leading engineers. It's suitable for use in many domestic appliances and it's compliant with BS 88 and IEC 60269 specifications for British standard fuses.
