3M 5490 Brown PTFE Tape, 32.9m x 12.7mm x 0.09mm

Use this PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) tape from 3M for coil wrapping in transformers or leak prevention in your plumbing pipes. Thanks to its good tensile strength, it can withstand high pressures, making it a sturdy choice for demanding applications. This tape should be wrapped around a fitting or a join in the same direction as the thread. Make three or four turns to ensure a well-sealed connection that's not too bulky.
