C-TRAN 3 Phase CT with In-built Power Meter

The C-Tran is a combined 3 phase multi function AC power transducer and a 3 phase current transformer in one. The meter is fully programmable through either of the two communication ports. The C-Tran can replace traditional multi function meters and 3 separate current transformers with this all-in-one product with RS485 output.

• RS485 output

• Non-volatile EEPROM memory for storing energy registers, current and voltage ratios and calibrated data

• 2 communication ports

• Accuracy class 0.2 to IEC688

• Multiple installation options

• 3 phase current options; 100A (914-5357), 160A (914-5351) and 250A (914-5360)

Communication Ports

Port 1:

The port has a fixed data format that can also retrieve measurements and set the transducer operating parameters. Only the baud rate and endian format can be changed on this port.

Port 2:

The port is used as the main communication port. It uses Modbus protocol to retrieve measurements and change the transducer operating parameters. It also enables the connection of a host computer, PLC, RTU or Data logger.

Parameters measured:

• Phase Voltage (V)

• Line Voltage (V)

• Phase Current (I)

• Frequency (Hz)

• Active Power Per Phase (W)

• System Active Power (W)

• Reactive Power Per Phase (VAr)

• System Reactive Power (VAr)

• Apparent Power Per Phase (VA)
