RS PRO Black Nylon 66 Cable Gland Locknut, M20 Thread, IP68
If you need to attach a cable gland to equipment with a highly water-resistant seal, this cable gland locknut from RS PRO will keep it securely in place.
The locknut is IP68-rated as being able to withstand submersion in 1.5 metres of water for 30 minutes, as well as keeping out dust, dirt and sand. It's made from Nylon 66, which offers high mechanical strength and rigidity and is also resistant to heat and chemicals. The material is approved under the UL 94V-2 standard for flammability (burning stops within 30 seconds on a vertical specimen).
As part of the RS PRO range, the locknut has been stringently tested for quality. It's also RoHS compliant for restricted hazardous substances. This kind of cable gland locknut is commonly used with all types of electrical power, control and data cables. Applications include machine and equipment manufacturing, automation technology and photovoltaic technology.
