A solenoid valve controls the flow of air or liquid in your machinery by opening or shutting channels. It typically consists of a coil and a plunger. In an NC system, when electrical energy passes through the coil, it raises the plunger and allows the fluid to pass through. When the coil is de-energised, the plunger returns to its original position, stopping airflow.
