A rugged connector that fits your on-site needs, the RS PRO M12 5-contact female connector achieves quick and hassle-free wired connections in the field. Screw-type termination on this connector eliminates the need for soldering or crimping, meaning you can make wire connections even when you don't have access to equipment. Simply strip the cable insulation, screw onto the adaptor, fully insert into the cable gland and securely close the connections.

To protect your equipment from damage, this connector offers insulation resistance of more than 100 MΩ. The gold-plated copper contacts protect it from rust. With an IP67 waterproof rating, the connector guarantees protection when immersed in up to 1 metre of water for 30 minutes. Part of the RS PRO range, this product is strictly tested for quality.

M12 connectors are ideal for automation and sensory applications that call for uninterrupted data transmission.
