Souriau Circular Connector

The Souriau 8STA series 13-poles male circular connector has a plug-type connection. It features a colour-coded banding system for easy identification and mate in 1/3 of a turn with an audible click. It has 5A current rating per contact with a superb tolerance to vibration, impact and harsh environments. The connector shell is made from rugged aluminium over conductive black zinc plating with gold-plated copper alloy contacts. This connector is ideal for non-safety applications that require a robust circular connector such as military where size and weight are important design consideration.

The Souriau 8STA series range of connectors was developed primarily for the motorsport market, durable, lightweight plug and receptacle connectors with a superb tolerance to vibration, impact and harsh environments. Souriau 8STA motorsport connectors are small and lightweight circular connectors suitable for Formula 1, Moto GP, WRC, Nascar, World Super Bikes, kart racing, boat racing and many other motorsports and also many other applications. Souriau 8STA series circular motorsport connectors feature a colour-coded banding system for easy identification and mate in 1/3 of a turn with an audible click.
