Thanks to their screw locking system and integrated strain relief, these robust universal connectors are protected to IP67. This means they are completely protected from solid matter ingress, such as dust and or sand. Q: Is this connector easy to use?

A: The cable connector pieces assemble by screwing together, requiring no special tooling. However, the connector terminates by solder, meaning wires must be soldered on to the contacts. The panel mount/chassis mount sockets and plugs are secured by simple screw holes.

Q: Are there accessories available for these connectors?

A: There is a dust cap designed to maintain IP rating on both plugs (RS 115-2023) and sockets (RS 115-2045) when they are unconnected.
