IP68 Deltron 483 Series Diecast Aluminium Boxes, Flanged
The Deltron 480 series diecast aluminium flanged enclosures are rated at IP68 as defined in the IEC standard 60529. IP68 is the highest grade of protection defined in this standard. These boxes can handle depths of up to 5 metres for 1 hour and are certified to BS EN60529 1992. Making these enclosures ideal for systems exposed to demanding environmental conditions in marine, industrial, food preparation, transportation, leisure and other applications. Shielded (EMC) version available.

Hard neoprene rubber seal with self adhesive backing
Lid has seal location lugs to aid fitment and sealing
Lid secured by M3.5 x 12 stainless steel fixing screws
Minimum seal thickness 3.0mm, minimum seal frame width 4.0mm
Minimum enclosure wall / lid thickness 1.5mm
Note
Shielded (EMC) version has a carbon loaded silicone seal.
