Piston Flow Switch

Monitoring of low flow rates of liquids. A piston equipped with a magnet is displaced by the flow, this action is proportional to the flow rate against a supporting spring. A reed switch on the outside is positioned at the desired point within the control range. A signal is generated when the actual flow rate value is above or below the set value.

Note

If used on air system, life expectancy of the unit is greatly reduced due to instantaneous pressure loss on the piston, which has no damping.
