UV (Ultraviolet) EPROM
These devices feature a quartz window so that the memory contents may be erased by shining intense Ultra Violet (UV) light of the correct wavelength onto the chip. The device may then be re-programmed using a suitable programmer. See the Programmers and Erasers section.
